Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how the Fortress VPN application for iPhone ("App") handles information. The App is published on the App Store by AB PAINT SPRAYING LIMITED ("we", "us"), which acts as the data controller for the limited processing described below.

2. Data we do not collect

We do not collect, store or process:

• browsing history, visited domains, DNS queries or the content of your traffic;
• connection timestamps, session duration or bandwidth logs tied to a user;
• your name, email address, phone number or postal address;
• contacts, photos, location data, or files on your device;
• advertising identifiers used to track you across other companies' apps and websites.

Because none of this is collected, there is nothing for us to sell, share or hand over.

3. Accounts and registration

The App does not require an account. You do not create a profile, and you do not provide us with credentials. Protection starts when you allow the VPN configuration on your device and tap connect.

4. VPN configuration on your device

To route traffic, the App installs a standard iOS VPN configuration through Apple's Network Extension framework. This configuration and any connection settings stay on your device. Removing the App removes the configuration.

5. Purchases

Subscriptions are sold and processed by Apple through the App Store. Payment is handled entirely by Apple: we never see or store your card details, Apple Account credentials or billing address. The App checks the status of a purchase (active or not) so it can unlock features; this check does not identify you to us. Apple's handling of your data is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.

6. Support correspondence

If you email us at support@fortress-vpn.co, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write. We use it only to answer you, and we keep the correspondence no longer than needed to resolve your request and meet any legal obligation. Please do not send sensitive information you do not want us to have.

7. Legal basis (EEA and UK users)

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, our processing of support correspondence rests on our legitimate interest in responding to you and, where relevant, on the performance of our contract with you under the Terms of Use.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export personal data we hold about you, to object to or restrict processing, and to complain to your data protection authority. Because the App collects no personal data, these rights in practice concern only support correspondence. Write to support@fortress-vpn.co and we will respond within the period required by law.

9. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal data through support, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Security

Traffic between your device and our VPN servers is encrypted using industry-standard protocols. We apply organisational and technical measures to protect the limited data we hold, such as support email. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. The current version is always published on this page with the date it was last updated. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
